We are delighted to announce our new Technology Hub in Rochdale is now open and operational. The move marks a significant investment in our customer service operations, technology offering, and commitment to developing talent within the security industry.
Previously based in Oldham, our Technology Hub has been relocated to a much larger, purpose-built space in Rochdale – ideally positioned on the motorway network for easy access from Manchester, Leeds, and beyond.
At the heart of this investment is our ‘people-first’ approach – a core part of the company’s DNA. The new Technology Hub will be home to a range of training opportunities, including an engineering training programme designed to upskill ASEL’s own security guards and staff, giving them the chance to develop more technical careers.
“Our new Technology Hub will be the centre of innovation for ASEL”, said Jeremy Honor, Chief Operating Officer for Technology. “We’re not just investing in bricks and mortar; we’re investing in our people, our customers, and the future of security technology in the UK.”
With a bigger warehouse facility, the new site allows ASEL to expand its stock offering and serve its nationwide customer base with greater speed and flexibility. Among this stock will be one of ASEL’s flagship technologies – the WASP (Wireless Alarm Site Protection) – a rapidly-deployable intruder alarm unit designed to deliver robust security in even the most challenging environments.
The new site will also be home to a major customer service operation. ASEL is developing plans for a full Customer Experience Centre where clients can see technology solutions in action. This approach builds on the success of the company’s “Immersion Zones” at recent events – installations that recreate lifelike retail and distribution centre crime scenarios. “We’re very excited about the Customer Experience Centre”, added Honor. “Our customers will have the opportunity to explore the breadth of ASEL’s security solutions in a hands-on, realistic environment. That’s invaluable.”
Dan Hardy, CEO said: “One of our company objectives for this year was to build scalable infrastructure to set the company for now and looking forwards. We strongly believe that our new Rochdale location will provide a perfect location primarily for our technology business, whilst enabling vast opportunities for training, customer engagement, company expansion, and importantly being representative of our people-based values.”
