ASEL take on ‘Around The World in 80 Days’

On 1 October, the ASEL team sets off on a challenge of truly global proportions. We will walk the circumference of the Earth, all 24,901 miles of it, to raise £10,000 for our charity, The ASEL Foundation.

What is the challenge?

Between 1 October and 18 December, our team will walk, run, and hike our way around the world, one step at a time. We’ll set daily targets, count every step, and share our progress here and on our social channels as the miles add up.

Our goal is simple…to smash our £10,000 target for The ASEL Foundation.

What is The ASEL Foundation?

The ASEL Foundation supports rehabilitation and recovery initiatives for people affected by drug and alcohol dependency. It gives individuals the opportunity to rebuild their lives and work towards a more positive future.

Rehabilitation is not a substitute for security, policing, or the criminal justice system. It can, however, play an important role in tackling some of the underlying causes of offending, and that helps create safer retail environments and stronger communities.

Why it matters to us

At ASEL, we believe addiction should never define the rest of someone’s life. That belief is at the heart of The ASEL Foundation, and it’s why every mile of this challenge matters to us.
