SCOPE OF PROJECT

A leading retail chain embarked on multiple initiatives across their stores, including pharmacy relocations, BWS (Beer, Wine, and Spirits) aisle reorganisations, SCO (Self-Checkout) moves, and compliance upgrades for HFSS and Brand Standards to accommodate Store in Store (SIS).

OBJECTIVES AND RESULTS

1. Pharmacy Relocations

  • 52 existing sites and 2 recently awarded sites underwent pharmacy removals
  • Pharmacy removal necessitated the relocation of pharmacy cameras to cover key areas within the store
  • Relocated pharmacy cameras now cover crucial areas within stores, ensuring comprehensive coverage after the introduction of new gondola aisle

2. BWS Scheme

  • Execute relocations of BWS aisles and gondolas across approximately 86 sites
  • The relocation of Beer, Wine, and Spirits (BWS) aisles and gondolas to different parts of the store, requiring the repositioning of cameras and implementation of other security systems
  • Provided tailored solutions, including camera and Mirror Monitoring system designs, to ensure seamless monitoring in the new BWS aisle locations in accordance with specifications

3. SCO Moves

  • Attend 416 sites to facilitate till moves and installation of new self-checkout systems
  • Following till moves and new self-checkout installations as per the construction programme issued by the main contractor, relocation of security solutions was necessary
  • Relocated existing cameras and self-checkout monitors while installing new equipment where necessary to meet current specifications and standards

4. HFSS, SIS, Brand Standards

  • Attend sites for CCTV and intruder relocations to comply with specs and standards following High Fat Sugar Salt (HFSS) and Brand Standards store upgrades, essential to facilitate the introduction of Store in Store (SIS). Additionally, install new Security systems according to the agreed upon design
  • Conduct CCTV and intruder system relocations to comply with specifications following HFSS and Brand Standards upgrades
  • Installed new security measures for the Store in Store (SIS) as per agreed design, ensuring the integration while maintaining security protocols.
