In 2020, Amberstone runs a risk modelling resource to risk proof of concept with the the UK’s largest retailer.
SecurAmerica growth and sale
In 2020, Argenbright’s SecurAmerica business becomes the fourth largest security company in North America employing 14,000 officers and covering all 50 states. The following year, this business is sold.
Amazon come on board
In 2019 Amberstone win a significant security account with Amazon in the UK.
Protector expands mobile division and innovation expertise
In 2019 The Protector Group open more offices to assist with expansion of their Mobile Security Division and a 20,000 square foot Engineering and Innovation Hub.
Amberstone invent Risk Modelling
On 8th May 2019, Amberstone invents Risk Modelling and begins investing in Risk Based Roaming Models in 2019.

Amberstone Security is formed through blending guarding services from Cardinal with technology services from Amberstone Technology.

Argenbright forms SecurAmerica with the goal of becoming the first US based, privately held security company to compete globally.

Cardinal Security – the forerunner to Amberstone Security is formed in 2003 to provide guarding services.
24 Hour Control Room
In 2002, TheProtector Group invests £750k in building a new operational base, including a state of the art 24 hour Control Room (RVRC), on Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead. The following year it is accredited to BS 5979 and certified as a Category 2 Monitoring Station.
The original Argenbright Security is sold
The original Argenbright Security business is sold to the British firm, in December 2000.
The Protector Group Origins
The Protector Group is formed in September 1994 by John S Harvey, an ex-Royal Marine with distinguished military service.
